The Grand Opening takes place on September 3rd. The doors are open from 7.30 PM and the official opening ends at 10 PM. The regular exhibitions are open to the public in the weekends between September 3rd and September 20th.
Friday: 10 AM – 8 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Plan your visit and buy your ticket here. This ticket is valid once on any specific day in the period of the festival. Early Bird tickets can be bought until July 31st. From August 1st onwards you can buy tickets in the regular online sale. Also at the door you can buy a ticket.
For special program activities, like talks and workshops, tickets can only be bought in advance online.

FROM AND TO
TRAIN, TRAM AND METRO
Fotofestival Schiedam is easily accessible by public transport. From Station Schiedam Centrum it is a 12 minute walk to Groenweegje 7, the main location of the festival. The walking distance between the locations is approximately 5 to 12 minutes. Check ret.nl of 9292.nl for the latest timetables.

Prefer to travel by car? Schiedam is easily accessible but please note that in and around the center of Schiedam there is paid parking (€ 2,70 or € 1,90 per hour). In some narrow residential areas close to shops it is only possible to buy a day ticket. Paid parking is valid on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 8 PM, on Thursdays (late-night shopping) from 9 AM to 9 PM hours and on Saturdays from 9 PM to 5 PM. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays. This also applies to shop Sundays (the first Sunday of the month).
The closest parking garage is the ABC garage, Lange Kerkstraat 28-a.
Explore the festival and Schiedam by bike? Take the OV Bicycle or rent a bike at Station Schiedam. From Rotterdam city center a cycle to Schiedam takes approximately 25 minutes.
TO SEE, TO DO, TO EXPERIENCE
Besides the festival, there is so much to see and do in historical and modern Schiedam and its surroundings. On S’DAM you will find information about all sights, excursions and good food and drinks. Their tourist information point is located at Lange Kerkstraat 39 Schiedam.
