Hiro Tanaka

Due to unexpected production conditions of other events, this exhibition in ‘De Grote of Sint-Janskerk’ can not be visited this weekend anymore.

While moving from one place to another, stepping into familiar and unfamiliar scenes, the Japanese photographer Hiro Tanaka encounters countless scenes during his life on the road. While bridging both time and distance, Tanaka recognizes constant repetitions through the different passing scenes that attract his gaze. Chicarron explores the relation between these encounters, where randomness of time and place serves as a guide and every image acts as a memento.
